The 'Blueprint'

At the request of the Cornwall Rail Forum, Focal has prepared a 'Blueprint' for the development of the Newquay Branch Line.

The aim of the Blueprint is to promote debate and initiate further studies and research. 

It describes a vision for a Newquay, Par, St. Austell and St. Dennis Rail Loop offering the prospect of enhanced local and Inter-City passenger services together with freight operations and, potentially, a heritage service.
